_{house of lords event - october 2009}

On Tuesday 27th October, 2009, Lord Stone of Blackheath hosted an evening at the House of Lords, as part of Loughborough University’s Centenary Celebrations. The House of Lords welcomed over 100 supporters, alumni and guests to the Cholmondeley room and terrace for a drinks reception and dinner. The alumni ranged from the class of 1944 to 2007. During the evening alumni and guests heard speeches from Lord Stone, Professor Shirley Pearce and Mark Sismey-Durrant (President of the Alumni Association).
