On Saturday, 30 August 2008, alumni from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's enjoyed a successful Get-Together Lunch at The Legends, Fort Canning Park in Singapore. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Shirley Pearce took the opportunity to update the alumni members present on recent developments at Loughborough University, as well as discussing how the University would be getting ready for its role in the 2012 London Olympics game. A series of interactive games were played to allow members to get to know each other better, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the days activities, with many alumni turning up on the day wearing their alumni T-shirts!
