On 02 September 2008, the Hong Kong Alumni Group hosted a reunion evening to coincide with the visit to Hong Kong of Loughborough University Vice Chancellor, Professor Shirley Pearce

Over thirty Loughborough alumni enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Kiangsu and Chekiang Residents Association.  Alumni from as far back as 1956 to as recent as 2007 were in attendance - reflecting the long history of alumni based in Hong Kong.

For some, this was their first ever alumni event, but soon the conversation was flowing and everybody was having a wonderful time, enjoying each others company and rolling back the years, as if still students in the UK, chatting in an English pub.
