The Alumni President, Paul Glover, hosted a Summer Reunion in Canada on 27^th June and was delighted to welcome 30 of our Canadian Alumni, partners and friends to Toronto’s Boulevard Club, for a drinks and canapés reception.

Paul gave an update on the University’s progress since the last Canadian reunion, including the ongoing implementation of the 2016 strategic plan; exciting establishment of the Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) Headquarters at Loughborough; excellent performance in all league tables; achievement of a 6^th Queen’s Anniversary Prize for research in vehicle, road and driver safety research; and the continuing success of Sport at Loughborough.

The evening was also a great chance for Canadian Alumni to catch-up with old (and new) friends. Both regular and new attendees to Canadian Reunions said that they very much enjoyed the evening and are looking forward to future events.
